New deck and sliding doors to existing house
DESIGN
Located on a sloping block facing north east, the existing site offers breathtaking views over Pittwater. The scope of the project is to open the northern end of the house containing the dining room onto a new deck to increase the indoor-outdoor connection, take advantage of the water views and get access to the adjacent landscaped garden. Through fully operable sliding doors, fitted with retractable louvre blinds, the internal space extends onto the deck at same level, floating above the existing ground.
