DESIGN
Located on the 3th floor of an existing seventies brick building, the double sided apartment is accessed through an external walkway and has its bedroom facing east and main living space facing west.
The refurbishment consists of redesigning the kitchen and bathroom, and providing additional storage. A new joinery pod groups and includes all these functions. Designed to articulate the space, it offers storage to the bedroom, the hallway, and the main living space, and, through its cut out corner, a new kitchen facing the dining and living room. Floating on 3 sides, it allows for cross ventilation between the high level bedroom and hallway windows and the main living space windows.
A new opening with translucent glass louvres brings natural light and ventilation to the bathroom.
